If It Isn't Broke Don't Fix It

 You know the saying if it isn't broke don't fix it? Well there is another side to that if it is Broke Don't Fix it. HALLA

This right here is about stopping the worrying, crying, trying to figure it, trying to make it work, exhausting everything you have including yourself for trying to make something work that clearly is broken.

If you are always able to figure it out, solve the problem, fix the problem. make a dollar out of fifteen cents, fall, get back and keep on rocking and now all of sudden none of these things are working for you that use to work for you. If you find your alone with nobody to help you. Crazy part about that is the people around you actually can help you. Your future your destiny wont allow it because if they help you if you get out of this you will miss one of the best things to come.

God is waiting for you to surrender. The universe is waiting for you to surrender. What is to come is better than what is in front of you right now but you have to be willing to just STAND. Stop trying to Figure it out!

Your future is waiting for you to accept the BREAK that is going to allow you to be GREAT!

So, I just got off the phone with a very good friend of mine. We and I say We had been waiting for a phone call all day. The reason I say We because if you have friends like I have friends we hype up the hell out of each other. Let us also include that you know how much they tried to stay positive and had to fight those dark moments. You know because you have been there yourself. Your friend has been in an uncomfortable space in their life recently so you are just as anxious and excited for the win as they are. Partially, because you know what it feels like when you are trying to keep a sparkle in your eye but the circumstances around you seem to be everything but bright. You know because you can remember the days you silently almost gave up. With that being said this was going to be one of the those life changing defining moments phone calls.

For me I have been patiently waiting for my friend be all the way Alive again and Walking in her Purpose. LOL for I am sure she would say the same thing about me. SMH

I wanted to see her beam with happiness again. When you have beamed with happiness before you want it for everyone. The beaming feeling of happiness can't be described nor can you live without once you experience it. WOOHA

So, with that being said she got her New Dream Job at almost 50 and I say New because this isn't the first dream of hers to come true. It is however, the DREAM for her now. I am so happy for her as if it were me. Mind you a year ago she said she wanted to live in this particular state doing this particular thing. Wasn't quite sure what it would look like in fact she thought it would look like something else. She didn't see it looking anything like it does so, I guess that is why we should leave the planning to God.

During our conversation I reminded her if she would have been comfortable and everything was exactly how she wanted it where she was right now she might have never started dreaming again or revisited her past dreams.

It wasn't until she surrendered, threw her hands up in the air and said ok, did God go to work. Well he had already been at work he was just waiting for her to stop trying to figure it out. Now, she has everything she dreamed of.

This reminded me of when I was back home and my business was stressful as shit, homelife was stressful as shit well SHIT everything was stressful as SHIT. LOL

I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel, whew that is when I knew things had to change. For I always see the light at the end of the tunnel and If I dont I make one or build a lighted tunnel. Well this was not that. I couldn't see anything and damn sure couldn't see my dreams.

I can remember driving past my restaurant everyday wondering if that would be the day that I would keep on driving and never open again. I had been trying to figure it out until I realized there was nothing left for me to figure out. I had to stop throw my hands in the air get obedient, have faith and listen. It didn't mean stop working but it did mean stop surrender and accept what it was at that moment. Let me tell you doing that has given me the biggest breakthrough.

I learned what you allow to BREAK will allow you to be GREAT whatever that means to you. I was tired of worrying, I was tired of it was doing to my health and everything around me. It was consuming all of me and such having a negative impact on my life. So , I had to start getting transparent about what I was dealing with so, I could let God work. TRANSPARENCY brings OPPORTUNITY! Transparency also blesses someone else and God is in the blessing business. The more TRANSPARENT you are the more God will bless you because you are blessing others by sharing your testimony. Your bravery to tell the story gives someone else a breakthrough.

I have another good friend of mine who owns a successful business back home. The one thing I love about her is how she is never embarrassed or ashamed to tell her story. She is going to tell you a story about when its good and when all hell is breaking loose. She is the cry baby out of the crew. She cries about everything but the flip side to that is she is honest about everything. Her honesty, transparency and loyalty is what I love most about her. She is her authentic self. I remember the day she threw her arms up as well and surrendered the peace she began to feel and the many blessings that fell upon her. So, if she could do it I could do it and listen her overhead was WAY WAY WAY more than mine. But she put her head down got busy researched other ways to make more streams of income, studied some marketing strategies and got busy. Guess who was calling ? Me! However, I would have never called for help if she had not been transparent and told her story. Her story gave me hope.

See people get so caught up with I am the Man , I am the Shit, I am that Girl. Yeah you are for we all have those moments when we feel that way. But what are you going to do when life humbles you real fast? You going to fold? You going to pretend? You going to surrender and make room for that thing that has to BREAK so you can be GREAT ?

Believe me, I know how difficult it can be to surrender it takes practice. Faith is something you have to practice over and over until it becomes unshakeable and even then it can be difficult. But if we can sit long enough to think about the times we thought the world was coming to end and in the midnight hour God turned it around. We can know that he is going to do it again.

To My Friend! I am so so so so beyond happy for you. I am so excited for you in this chapter to be free and have all your dreams come true. I love you and this one is for you!
